Level Control (Elwe - Experimental Panel System)

The experimental panel system is used to show simple control algorithms such as PID controller. The elements of the control loop are interconnected in a transparent way, thus this system is very useful for pedagogical purposes, especially when teaching the beginners in the field of control.
The control purpose in this case is to maintain the desired level of the liquid in the tank by changing the inflow, while the outflow represents the disturbance in the system.
