The Professional study Aplied Electrotechnics lasts 3 years and has 180 ECTS. The emphasise is given to practical knowledge.
The knowledge enables computer systems design for monitoring, supervision and automatic control of processes and tasks in technical systems. The students earn knowledge about measurements, digital circuits, modelling and simulation, elements and embedded systems in control technology, components in electronics, signals and control systems, robotics, communications in control, intelligent systems and computer control of systems. They can also choose among the subjects offering knowledge about microprocessor electronics, electrical installations and lighting, sensors and data acquisition, process measurement systems and quality control, integrated circuits and digital electronic systems design, power engineering, satellite communications, software quality and patents.
The obtained knowledge and skill enable immediate employment but also the continuation on Academic study 2nd cycle after graduation.
The direction Control systems starts in the 2nd year. However students can choose the introductory subject Automatic control already in the 1st year.
